Green Chemistry has been identified as one of the top priority areas in the Worldwide Universities Network. A partnership for promoting this area has been established and its membership has been continually expanding to involve many universities worldwide, including Illinois, Leeds, Manchester, Penn State, Southampton, Utrecht, Washington (Seattle) and York, as well as a number of non-WUN universities; continuous efforts are made to further broaden the involvement. The Green Chemistry Partnership aims to bring together multidisciplinary expertise from around the world facilitating breakthrough collaborative research of global significance, sharing of ideas and generally working together towards common goals. As part of our activities we now have a dedicated website on the WUN server, a database of over 160 expert researchers, exchange visits, and collaborative projects including those forming the basis of research grant applications in Europe and the US. The Green Chemistry Partnership also run multidisciplinary virtual seminar series, which aims to stimulate collaboration.
