WUN-Hangzhou International Summer School on Spintronics, 2008

WUN-HangZhou International Summer School on Spintronics is organised by Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) and Zhejiang University. The International School will take place in Hangzhou, one of the most beautiful cities in China from July 17 to 19, 2008. The school will invite 12 world leading scientists to give lectures on the fundamental science and the current development of spintronics and related areas. Each lecture will be around one hour.

The summer school would welcome the young researchers and students to attend. It is also encouraged for the young researchers and students to bring posters to the summer school and to communicate with world leading scientists in this exciting area of spintronics.

The registration fee is $150 for students and $ 300 for regulars, which will cover everything from the registration, the hotels, all the meals, the summer school dinner to social event. We will provide financial supports to 10 students to cover their registration fee.

You are encouraged to bring a poster to the summer school. There will be a number of “The International School” prizes for the posters and the winners will get a Chinese style gift and a spintronics text book “Spintronic Materials and Technology” (ISBN: 9780849392993), by Yongbing Xu and Sarah Thompso. Please email or fax your poster abstract to Dr. Yizheng Jin before June 27, 2008.
