Nation-Empire-Globe
The University of Sydney is a leading centre for the study of three of the most important contemporary subjects of inter-disciplinary inquiry in the humanities and social sciences: colonialism, nationalism and globalisation. The Nation Empire Globe research cluster brings together Sydney scholars in these fields. Activities include a research seminar series, a program of mini-conferences and Visiting Scholars, an annual research day. On 29-31 March 2007 we hold an inaugural Postgraduate Intensive Workshop, led by historians of colonialism and internationalism.
International students are welcome to apply. Entry is by application and is competitive, limited to 2- places. For further information visit the website or contact Associate Professor Alison Bashford .
