The WUN Gender Studies Global Network brings together research institutions from around the world that specialise in gender studies. The consortium aims to promote a global research culture through collaborative academic activity, encourage gender-related teaching and research, and cultivate a dynamic mobility programme for postgraduate students and academic faculty between partner institutions.
The kick-off meeting for the network was held at the University of Leeds over 21st and 22nd June where 25 faculty from across the WUN partnership and other centres of excellence, such as the Humboldt University, met to agree a series of activities to be rolled our over the next 3 years including collaborative research, conferences, workshops, shared teaching, virtual research seminars and faculty and student exchange.
This website has been developed jointly by the WUN Gender Studies Global Network and WUN to provide information for faculty and students about collaborative international research and teaching activities for those interested in gender studies.
If you would like to join the network please send information (in the appropriate format) about your research interests, along with details of the courses and opportunities that your institution offers, to Louise Heery.
