Understanding Cultures

The WUN Understanding Cultures Global Challenge brings together scholars from the Humanities and Social Sciences, as well as other disciplines, to develop research into culture, and society, to address issues of relevance to policy-makers. Topics include but are not limited to:

- Cultures of Health and Disease

- Cultural Identities

- Power, Transformation, and Justice

This Global Challenge is also home to the WUN Contemporary China Group. Researchers are encouraged to explore the role of new technologies and new forms of knowledge exchange as an integral part of this Global Challenge.
